Bay Lodge
Silver Bay Lodge is located on the
scenic Michigamme River, in Republic, Michigan. This beautiful log
cabin sits on 20 acres where waterfowl and wildlife abound. Your
privacy is assured, yet you're only minutes off state highway
M-95. The lodge is family-friendly, with children and pets
welcome. Snowmobilers, hunters, fishermen, hikers and bikers will
find the lodge to be an excellent home base from which to explore
the U.P. Scenic, private and quiet, the lodge is the perfect place
to unwind from the work-a-day world. It can also be a great place
to stage a family reunion, with plenty of room for guests to gather together. We also offer
guests the option to access the
Michigamme River from our own home on the basin in Republic. The
river is more of a lake at this point, and boaters can paddle up
and down the river for miles, stopping for picnics at local parks.
A riverside sauna is available here as well, and we'd be happy to
fire it up (with advance notice) so that guests can experience the
invigorating thrill of jumping into the river after steaming in
the sauna.
